LAWSON CANAL MASTER PLAN
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Neighborhood Planners worked for the City of Menasha as a sub-consultant to Stantec. The purpose of the study was to identify a consensus vision and implementation strategy for transforming an abandoned canal into a mixed-use waterfront community. The restoration of the canal will attract new residents and businesses while providing opportunities for outdoor recreation and wildlife viewing.
KEY RECOMMENDATIONS
Leveraging local, State, and federal funding sources
Phased implementation approach to support short and medium term private development
RESULTS
